Karin's Rainbow Gathering 2011 news and ideas for creating a safe, fun
and healing gathering in Washington State, July 1 - 7, 2011.
As with all things related to Rainbow Gatherings, this is not an official source
of information and represents my thoughts and opinions only.
Other people will have different ideas. Email me if you wish.
Tennessee, Tennessee, there ain't no place I'd rather be!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia would not be a very good idea... rumor has it that most all of the Family that headed there for a regional after Ocala/Acola never even made it to the site because the police cracked down on them so hard.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a few great regionals in GA so I'm not sure what your talking about. I find the locals in GA/TN/NC to be great as long as you don't come off as a "Jerk from Jersy"
ReplyDeleteHawker is right, katuah family has a lot of strong energy ;)
ReplyDeleteOregon?! Good this times of years
ReplyDeleteGathering was just in Washington, which means it needs to come east. Council chooses the region, and that's already done. (Though, i don't know how NH possibly fall into the region. Nor do I see how it would be reasonable, considering the gathering was in PA last year.)Tennessee, there ain't no place I'd rather be!!! KY is nice, too.
ReplyDeleteCumberland and Katuah families would be wonderfully receptive I am sure and both tribes have created great inroad paths with the locals already.
ReplyDeletebut pulleeeeeeeeeeeeze don't even try to find a place in Virginia because if we gather in Virginia I won't be able to attend at all. I cannot step one inch into that Commonwealth. and btw, the pot laws in virginia for people from out of state are in-sane... (one example - a brother with no previous drug-related offenses got 33 years of which 5 were to be in their custody and the rest on probation because he brought a few lbs to an old friend)
I'm hoping for it to be in one of the Appalachian states. I'd love to have the family in my back yard.
